When you scan or upload a photo of an ingredients label, it is sent securely to our server and on to our AI analysis provider (Anthropic) solely to produce your result. We do not store your photos on our servers.
We keep an anonymous cache of ingredient lists and their verdicts so repeat scans of the same product are instant. We keep anonymous usage statistics (scan counts, verdict types, response times) to run and improve the service. We temporarily record your IP address only to enforce fair daily usage limits; these records are routinely deleted. If you submit a report about a result, we store your message and, only if you choose to provide it, a contact detail so we can reply.
We do not require an account, do not sell or share personal information, do not show third-party advertising, and do not use tracking cookies.
Analysis is performed via the Anthropic API; label content is processed under their commercial API terms. Our website is hosted by GoDaddy. Both may process data outside Australia.
